  1. I just discovered your blog and I’m already learning a lot! Thanks for all the reviews, and the specifics re: kids. We are expats in Luxembourg with 2 young kids. We’ve been here a year and we’d like to start traveling more. Your blog will be a great resource!

  5. Thank you for this blog – my husband and I are both geeks of differing interests, and we used your info a lot on our trip to Mulhouse-Colmar-Strasbourg-Nancy. Next, I’m looking at Croatia…or Nantes…or Barcelona. One thing I could use some suggestions on – how do you find the best local tech-y attractions. We always look for industrial museums for him, and applied arts museums for me, but these are not always mentioned in guidebooks.

    • Hi Laurel,
Great question, and one that deserves it’s own post. In a nutshell, often it’s just simple research, digging deep into the details of other blog posts or listings of things to do in a particular destination. With a little luck, I stumble on something completely nerdy and worthy of our time (and hopefully cheap, to boot). I believe there is a website though for geek travel where users can pin recommendations for others, but I can’t recall the name at the moment. Glad to have helped you, and I hope you thoroughly enjoyed Alsace!

We want to hear from you! Share your thoughts here.
